Frequently Asked Questions
Booking your Cake:
To ensure your date, you should be booking your cake 1-6 months before your event. Your order is not confirmed until a deposit is paid.
Consultations:
There is a $25 charge for a consultation. We can design your cake for the event. A tasting is also available at the consultation. If you book with Sugarfix, the $25 charge will go towards your order. Bring your ideas, pictures, theme, and colours.
Deposits:
A deposit of $100.00 is required to hold your date and for your stand rental. The deposit will be refunded when the stand has been returned. Late or damaged stands will result in a portion or all of the deposit being forfeited.
Delivery/Set up Charges:
Yes, we do delivery and set up of your cake/cupcakes. A charge is determined, as to your location. Most fees start at $50.00 for the lower mainland.
Payment:
Sorry, we DO NOT accept Visa, Mastercard or debit cards. Cheques, Money Orders, and cash only. Your payment in full is due 2 weeks prior to your event. Late payments could result in your order being cancelled.
Cost of the Cake:
All of our cakes are custom. They are priced on an individual basis, depending on complexity of the design etc. Consultations are available.
Cancellations/Changes:
Yes, you may cancel or change your order up to 6 weeks before your event. For cancellations, 50% of your deposit will be returned. Changes are not accepted 2 weeks prior to the event.
