What makes a “FAKE CAKE” a more economical choice for the big day? It provides you with the same “WOW” factor of a real cake presentation, but it also enables you to serve cake to your guests while spending a fraction of the cost.

Some venues are offering many different desserts with the dinner menus. Cake is not always required…BUT ordering a FAKE CAKE allows the Bride and Groom the opportunity to have the traditional cake cutting ceremony as well as all the fabulous cake cutting photos!!

FAKE CAKES are made of styrofoam forms that are covered in fondant and decorated as a real cake would be. The top tier is real cake so it can still be “cut” and of course eaten, or… (always a good photo opportunity!)

Slab cakes can be ordered as well. They are sheet cakes covered in buttercream icing and serve 65 people per slab. These are also a fraction of the cost of having a tiered cake and are quite common to serve to guests while having a fake designer cake on display.

BASIC & CUSTOM FAKE CAKES STARTING AT $175

The BASIC FAKE CAKE comes with the top tier in “real” cake. It is all covered in white fondant and has a trim of ribbon in a colour of your choice. All that is needed is your own personal touch. Adorn it with fresh or silk flowers to match your wedding colours or theme.

CUSTOM FAKE CAKES that I design to your specifications can be ordered as well. Charges go up with the complexity of the design.

IN A RUSH? HAVE A SMALL BUDGET? ALL FAKE CAKES - $125

The ALL FAKE CAKE comes in three tiers. The entire cake is fake and is covered in white fondant with white ribbon trim. This can be picked up several days or even a week before the “big day”. You can easily decorate it yourself by adding fresh or silk flowers, changing the ribbon colour, or gluing your “bling” right onto the cake. It looks and even “smells” like a fresh wedding cake.

Cake stands are also available for rent or a cake board will be provided with the fake cake. Deliveries and setup for most of the lower mainland is $50.
